Aug 12th

We still have no clear explanation or evidence as to what our very purpose in this universe is. Hundreds of years ago, everyone believed that the Earth was at the center of the universe. Today we know better, but a complete picture of the universe remains elusive. From the ancient notion of a flat Earth to today’s theories on the very shape of past and future history, ideals of the universe have evolved with the help of scientific discovery and the eternal human imagination.

The spectacular world of Time Lapse Photography
Jun 15th

The world is filled with enigmatic spectacles. To make a long story short, a lot of methods are employed. One of the most fascinating method is ‘Time Laspe Photography’. Time-lapse photography is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back.
For example, recording the blooming of a sunflower over a period of several days and warping the video such that it lasts just a few minutes. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. Time-lapse photography can be considered to be the opposite of high speed photography. When such phenomena happens very slowly, viewing accelerated footage helps scientists take a step back and see the big picture. At higher speeds, things that we regard as fixed take motion and even the dullest scenes spring to life. Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, such as the motion of the sun and stars in the sky, become very pronounced.
50 inspiring examples of emotional portrait photography

Although photographic lighting and the way we capture the image with a camera may have changed over the years; all great portraits, whether they are taken on film or digitally, depend on the photographer’s ability to use light and pose his or her subject. Surprisingly, there seems to be something of an enigmatic aura that surrounds portrait photography; even some professional photographers admit that they won’t fully understand about photographic lightning.
However once you do, a few very general principles such as -how light can be used to make your subject look more dimensional, you will find that even very dramatic looking lightning patterns are otfer nothing more than variations on a basic theme. Similarly, very slight adjustments in the pose -a tilt of the head, or turning the body away from or towards the light, can make a subtle but vital difference.

Wildlife photography is regarded as being one of the most challenging forms of photography. It involves a thorough understanding of the behavior of animals and in addition to it, one needs to have sound technical skills, such as being able to expose in the right manner. Its all about being in the right place at the right time.
Surprisingly enough, photographing some species may require stalking skills or the use of a camouflage as well. Whilst wildlife photographs can be taken using basic equipment, successful photography of some types of wildlife requires specialist equipment, such as macro lenses for insects, long focal length lenses for birds and underwater cameras for marine life. However, since the advent of digital cameras and the never ending quest for adventures, this practice has evolved into totally new heights.
40 jaw dropping examples of Sequence Photography
Apr 28th

Photography is undeniably the most exciting hobbies one can have. It takes you to a new dimension of getting inspired. Photography has evolved into an enitrely different plateau since the first camera was built. One of the most interesting areas of photography is the Sequence Photography. A picture is worth a thousand words. But what if a picture tells us the story of more than just one picture.
A sequence photo is a series of images displaying the same object in various positions that mimic continual movement such as the throwing of a ball or the opening of a flower. Sequences show movement, so still life subjects are not commonly used unless they are manipulated by a third party to change positions for the photo. (via ehow)
