The spectacular world of Time Lapse Photography

The world is filled with enigmatic spectacles. To make a long story short, a lot of methods are employed. One of the most fascinating method is ‘Time Laspe Photography’. Time-lapse photography is a cinematography technique whereby each film frame is captured at a rate much slower than it will be played back.
For example, recording the blooming of a sunflower over a period of several days and warping the video such that it lasts just a few minutes. When replayed at normal speed, time appears to be moving faster and thus lapsing. Time-lapse photography can be considered to be the opposite of high speed photography. When such phenomena happens very slowly, viewing accelerated footage helps scientists take a step back and see the big picture. At higher speeds, things that we regard as fixed take motion and even the dullest scenes spring to life. Processes that would normally appear subtle to the human eye, such as the motion of the sun and stars in the sky, become very pronounced.
Time lapse is an important part of any cinematographer. Many of the sequences in the film will contain fantastic visual feasts revealing unusual events not normally visible to the naked eye. Some classic subjects of timelapse photography include cloudscapes and celestial motion; plants growing and flowers opening; fruit rotting; evolution of a construction project; people in the city and so on. The technique has also been used to photograph crowds and traffic. The effect of photographing a subject that changes imperceptibly slowly, is to create a smooth impression of motion.
To fascinate your senses, I have chosen some of the best examples of Time Lapse Photography. Coupled with some sensational music, one cannot stop but watch them over and over again. Enjoy!
