Free Icons : Gold embedded Leather Social Icon Set
After blogging for nearly three months, I have been able to elevate this design blog to a whole new level. I give all the credit to you guys for constantly supporting me and voting for the articles. Sharing and promoting my articles has immensely helped me to increase the popularity of the blog. I will try my best to continually provide valuable content from the world of design. Having said that, I do not want to make this like many other blogs which merely showcase stuff. I also want to share some of my experiences and knowledge in creating amazing designs in Photoshop.
I love creating Icons and I will continue to keep creating awesome icons for you guys and giving them for free. So, in this article, I am giving away the ‘Gold embedded Leather Iconset‘. So, go ahead and download it and let me know what you think about it.
Here is a small peek at how the icons look like. It is available in 3 sizes : 64px, 128px and 256 px. I hope you enjoy using them as much as I did creating them. These are under the CC license so you can use them however you want but please do not publish them as your own, resell or redistribute it without my permission.
If you want to do a giveaway of your icon set you wish to share or if you like to contribute by writing guest articles, you are more than invited to do so :) I treat my guest authors with utmost honor and respect. Just drop me a line via the CONTACT FORM.
This Icon set was created pretty much similar to the Leather Icon set I released a month ago. I will post a small tutorial on how I created this in a couple of days. So, keep watching this space :)

Very sweet set. They have a nice sophisticated feel. I’m looking forward to your tutorial. Freebies are nice, but adding the benefit of seeing how certain effects are done is the real bonus. (Give a man a fish…etc).
Yeah, you are right. I want to release the icons and the tutorial separately because this won’t crowd the article and I can keep my readers in suspense :P

I just wonder why all the icons are filled with gold color but the DIGG icon is not filled?
Yeah.. It looks a bit odd. I should have filled it. Well, it looked perfectly normal at the size I created them (500px)

I just tried to download the Leather Social Icon Set, but my computer gave me a warning that the file is potentially dangerous. I’ve downloaded many icons recently, and this is the only one that said that. Is there another way to download this set? My client likes it, and I’d like to use it if possible.
