“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works“, a quote from one of the most revolutionary entrepreneurs of all time, Steve Jobs; is quite clearly the framework for the success achieved by Apple throughout the years.
As designers, we always look for inspiration to spark our creative minds and the best place to look is in the minds of great artists themselves. It is from their words of wisdom, the world is becoming better each day. Their quotations travel far, inspire a lot of people and become the very foundation of our lives. These quotations bring a sense of invigoration inside our minds, and motivating us to perform better.
Quotations are used for a variety of reasons; to illuminate the meaning or to support the arguments of the work in which it is being quoted, to provide direct information about the work being quoted (whether in order to discuss it, positively or negatively, to pay homage to the original work or author). Quotations are also commonly printed as a means of inspiration and to invoke philosophical thoughts from the reader. (via wikipedia)
The right way to spark our innovative minds is to follow some of the memorable quotes from famous artists. These quotes can be used to emphasize the importance of a proper design in the creation/manufacturing of any art or object. These quotes can be used to guide how different some designs are better than the others.
In this article, I have showcased some very good quotes and a few memorable ones too. I must admit, some of them are not exactly quotes related to design but they are executed with great creativity that I almost fell in love with them and I had no choice but to feature them here.
