30 Inspirational TED Talks on Design and Creativity
TED Talks is an annual conference that defines its mission as “ideas worth spreading”. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment and Design. It started out in the early 1984 as a conference, bringing together people from those 3 worlds. Since then, its scope has become ever broader. The annual conference now brings together the world’s most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives.
I think the best part about TED, apart from the quality of their speakers & ideas shared, is the fact that it is all about sharing among the creative commons. This means, their website has a huge plethora of inspirational videos with great production value that are free for people like you and me to watch. There are talks based around advertising, marketing, industrial design, graphic design, and the list goes on and on. The scope of subjects covered is almost overwhelming, but the common thing that bridges them is the creativity of each idea shared.
In this article, I have shared some of the best TED videos related to Design, Inspiration and Creativity. Each of them is more inspirational than the previous. I was completely enlightened by watching the wonderful speeches and we are definitely very lucky and gifted to have such inspirational speakers who are willing share some of their insights and thoughts on the world of design and creativity. Good Luck!
